A little while back, I created some pony video avatar bases, promising to get a tutorial done soon. Well, I had some trouble finding screen recording software that worked to my satisfaction, but I finally got it done. If you'd ever wanted to do analysis, review, or critique videos of MLP, but didn't have an animated avatar, now you can make one completely for free. It's really not that difficult, though it may take a bit of practice, as you'll have to draw in your own mane. I try to explain everything you'll need to know in the tutorial, though, so hopefully you'll be able to get through it alright.
The tutorial is divided into two parts. The first part goes over how to color the pony, pose the pony, and export a pose (none of which require you to do any drawing). The second part focuses on how to draw your own mane, and talks about what you might see in future versions of the base. I also made a video in which I introduce the bases and talk about what they are and why I made them.

On Hiatus (Moving)
I should have posted this a week ago, really.
I just moved into a new apartment, and don't have a desk or anything. I'm afraid commissions and requests will be closed until I can get settled in. For those of you that had ongoing requests, I'll pick those back up when I can. Sorry about the delays, hopefully business as usual should resume sometime next week.
Been Sick
I know I promised I'd try to do weekly comics, not to mention a few outstanding requests I have yet to finish, but of the many things I imagined delaying those, getting sick was not one of them. I'm still not sure what it was, but it involved vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramping... you know, the fun stuff. It was serious enough that I've taken over a week off of work, and haven't been able to get much else done. I'm mostly better now, and by that I mean my gut is still sensitive and I'm being careful what I eat, but otherwise I feel pretty normal. I plan to return to work tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes (I actually have the next few
Weekly Comics
Well, that weekly livestream didn't work out so well. My work schedule is a little wonky, leading me to generally alternate between getting 6 hour of sleep and getting 12 hours of sleep a night. Even pushing the start of the stream back to 2 pm, I was having trouble getting up and finishing my "morning" routine (mostly, shower and breakfast) before it was time to start the stream. Also, the few times I did do it, I don't think I had any viewers beyond those I personally invited. So yeah, I might still do streaming at some point, but I'm not going to schedule any regular streams.

I sort of get why people pass these around. It gives people a chance to get to know one another, and it can be fun to ask silly questions or give silly answers. On the other hand, these sorts of things bear an uncanny resemblance to chain letter-ish type spam, particularly in the way they perpetuate themselves and multiply every time a new one gets posted. As such, I will not be tagging anyone in response, cutting off the chain here, but I will deign to answer the questions put to me.
